Inventory Control
The section of data entry screen in Procedures Module for changing inventory is shown below. If you want an item to be under inventory control change Inventory to "Yes". Anyone can turn inventory control on. However, only a user with "Inventory" access privileges can change it to "No".

To add items to inventory click the green + icon 
to get the dialog below. Ever use can add to inventory and the amount added is logged in the Log Database.




Manually debiting inventory
This function requires that the user have "Inventory" privileges. If a user without this privilege tries to debit inventory they get the dialog below and the action is logged!



The user how does have
"Inventory" privileges would click the the red minus icon to get the dialog below. The inventory or administrator's needs to be entered and the amount to be debited. If the password entered is correct the amount is debited and the action logged. If the password entered was wrong the second dialog appears.





Printing an inventory list
To view and then print an inventory list, click the Print Inventory  button in the Inventory section. This will first send to the screen a list of all inventory items, subgrouped by those that do not meet the minimum on hand requirements and those that do. The list sorts to show those first that need to be ordered followed by those in stock. The bottom of the report (second graphics) give the total of all items in inventory.
